Frequently Asked Questions

Start here for the details families most often need before choosing a class, registering, or sending the studio a message.

What ages can take classes at Rhythm & Soul?

Rhythm & Soul’s regular youth program welcomes dancers ages 2 through 18. The current class information starts with options for dancers ages 2 and up, including early movement classes, ballet and tap foundations, and older student levels. Additional seasonal programs are published separately only while they are available.

How do I register for classes?

Regular class registration is handled online through Jackrabbit. New families can use the class registration link, and current families can use the Parent Portal. Short-term and pop-up programs may use offering-specific payment instructions, which are written on the applicable program page.

Where can I see the current class schedule and pricing?

Current seasonal schedules and pricing appear in the Classes menu while they are active. Class availability should be confirmed through the online registration system.

What dance styles are offered?

The site lists creative movement, ballet and tap combo, ballet, jazz, tap, acro, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, musical theater, pom, leaps and turns, conditioning, strength and stretch, and modern-based options across the current class schedule.

How can I keep track of studio dates?

Use the studio calendar for current classes, seasonal programs, deadlines, and special events. Check the website calendar for the latest published updates.

What is the recital path?

Recital is the annual performance path where students build choreography, stage presence, confidence, and a performance piece through their weekly class work. Families should watch the studio calendar for recital-related dates and reminders.

Where can I learn about the RSDC competition team?

The Competition Team page explains the team path. Any dated opportunity is published separately only while it is current.

What should I include when I contact the studio?

Include your dancer's age, experience level, the class or team path you are asking about, and any schedule or registration details that would help the studio answer clearly. You can also email the studio directly at rhythm.soulvb@gmail.com.
